Chicken Fry (less oil )




Ingredients :

Chicken -  250 gms
cloves - 2
cinamon - 1 inch
Bay leaf - 1 small
cumin - 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1  1/2 tsp
turmeric powder - 1/3 tsp
salt - as per taste
red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder  - 1 tsp
oil - 2 tsp
Onion - 1 sliced

Method :

Add  2 tsp of oil to a pan then add cloves cinnamon , bay leaf, cumin , curry leaves , when they crackel
addd sliced onions fry for few minutes then add ginger garlic paste saute the onions
Then add turmeric powder salt , followed by chicken , then red chilli powder stir it well
Then fry it for 5 minutes , then add water and put on the lid , untill the chicken is done
In the middle keep stirring  to avoid burning .
Untill the water evaporates and the chicken is cooked well , then add garam masala powder to it and stir it untill it gets dried .
garnish it with a coriander leaves and onion .

this can be as a very good starter , accompaniment to rice ,Biryanis , flavoured rices and rotis as well 


Brinjal Curry


Ingredients :

Brinjal - 5
Tomatoes  - 2 chopped
Onion - 1 sliced
salt - as per taste
Turmeric powder - pinch
red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
coriander powder - 1 tsp
garam masala - 1/3 tsp
peanut powder - 2 tsp ( roasted and powdered )
Oil - 1 tsp
curry leaves - 1 bunch
seasoning - 1 tsp ( mustard , urad dal , chana dal , cumin )

Method :

put a pan and add 1 tsp oil then add seasoning ingredients then add curry leaves when they crackel add slice onions then add turmeric, salt and fry them

When the onions are done addd tomatoes then add chilli powder coriander powder , when the tomatoes are done add garam masala powder and fry ,

Then add brinjal and fry for few minutes 

if the curry is getting dry add water and cover it with a lid .

check the salt and if the brinjal is done  add peanut powder and stir it and keep the lid closed .

serve hot with rice , even it goes with roti also .

enjoy 1 tsp oil curry

Hi Friends , this is a very easy snack made in our place ..

u dont need any extra ingredients to make this

u can use your Dosa batter

To the dosa batter add 1 chopped onion 2 chopped green chilli and littel soda and check the salt , thatsit ur batter is ready to prepare bonda

Heat a pan with oil ( for deep frying ) when the oil is hot add the batter with a spatula into small bondas ,

When it turns into brown colour take it of from oil and put  in a tissue paper , after that serve it with red chutney or something of yoour choice .
